Question:  Sharam asks:  I plan to drive from San Francisco to Vancouver, BC.  I have choice of Highway 5 & 101.  Which is a better scenic road?  Please advise and where to stop too.

The Voodoo Doughnut

     It was a sunny Saturday morning (reason enough to celebrate), and I was looking for a fuel stop before hitting the Portland Saturday Market. I literally stumbled onto Voodoo Doughnut out of the blue; a red door on the side of a nondescript brick building that also houses the Paris Theater is the only evidence of its existence. There was a steady stream of people going in and coming out, but the real clue I was about to encounter nirvana came when I opened the red door myself and the distinctive aroma of fresh-baked doughnuts came wafting out.
