Fall in the New River Gorge

If you’re looking for a beautiful area to visit in the fall, consider the New River Gorge region of southern West Virginia, an area I’ve previously visited with my brother Steve.

Originally planned as a “manly man” camping trip, we ended up “camping” at the EconoLodge in Summersville due to a forecast of steady rain and forty-degree temperatures. A Drive Through West Virginia

The New River Gorge Bridge, West Virginia

Question:  I'm flying into Lexington, Kentucky for a couple of days, then driving into Morgantown, West Virginia to visit someone.  I'm taking my time getting there.  Any suggestions?? I'm leaving June 22 and I don't have to be in Morgantown until June 26.  I'd like to make the most of it.  Can AAA help me?
